Alexandra Margo Sholler, known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ, and performer. Tolman was praised for her portrayal as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair reported that Tolman, "calmly" and "assuredly" took over the show. She won the Critics' Choice Television Award as Best Supporting Actress in a Film/Miniseries she was nominated as Best Actress at both the Emmy Awards & Golden Globes for her performance. The same year, it was revealed that Tolman is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the Mindy project as Abby Berman who is a romance writer. In 2015, she was an supporting role on Michael Dougherty s comedy horror film Krampus. Tolman turned down a variety of supporting roles, such as roles that were played by wives, mothers and friends, following her debut on Fargo. Tolman wanted a new job. Tolman appeared in the ABC drama series Downward Dog in 2017, based on Animal Media Group's web series. It was cancelled after one season. Tolman appeared in ABC's Emergence drama, which debuted on the 24th of September, 2019, however it was pulled by ABC after one year at the 21st of May in 2020 despite Tolman posting on Twitter that the ratings were "pretty good". She was also a guest star on NBC's Good Girls. She played Alma Filcott during the second year of Why Women Kill.
